Box Stallion welcomes a new Chef!

Kristi Gladstone is the newest member of the Box Stallion family. She originally hails from Beechworth and was an apprentice at award winning restaurants Gigi's and The Green Shed. Snapped up by the well regarded Bank Restaurant in Beechworth shortly after that, and in the 3 years she was there, quickly worked her way into the Head Chef position. The Bank Restaurant provided valuable experience for her in the realm of innovative wine and food matching as she also catered for events in partnership with Campbell's Wines and Brown Brothers.

Her move to the Peninsula 3 years ago took her to The Baths in Sorrento as Head Chef and to popular Pizza D'oh Italian Restaurant in Blairgowrie.

At 27 Kristi displays remarkable maturity, food knowledge and enthusiasm and is one of the rare breeds of Chefs that takes on every task with little fuss and fantastic professionalism. The best news is that she is a very good cook!
