Leigh Sloggett is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter. He performs original blues-leaning acoustic music, infused with folk/roots and rock influences. Leigh took up guitar at the age of twelve but it wasnt until his mid thirties that he seriously started writing songs, having returned to Australia after living overseas for many years. Since 2002, Leigh has performed at many different venues and festivals around Melbourne, and has built a reputation for originality and his tasteful performances on acoustic lap-slide. In April 2006, he launched his debut CD Sliding To Your Destiny at the Berwick and District Folk Club. Sliding To Your Destiny has been getting regular rotation on many community radio programs across Australia as well as some airplay in France, Belgium and Canada. MySpace.com
