Box Stallion Wines

Since our first vintage in 2001 and entering these wines into wine shows, this young local winery has collected many medals and trophies over years. Winemaker Alex White has created a range of up front flavour, intense wines, which have been priced competitively. The line up, including some unusual varieties from the peninsula consists of:

Box Stallion is a joint venture vineyard and winery between Melbourne accountant Stephen Wharton and local vigneron Garry Zerbe. All fruit for Box Stallion wines is grown on the groups own properties at Bittern and Merricks North and the wines are distributed direct from the winery.
