Cellar Door group lunch bookings:
Regarding bookings in excess of 20 people, guest numbers must be finalized 5 days before the function date. Small changes in numbers must be finalized no later than 48 hours before the function date. If there is a drastic last minute reduction in numbers, clients will still be charged for the number of people confirmed when finalizing the booking. You will be charged 50% of the pre-discussed price per head or if the group was to be ordering from the menu on the day of the booking, the default amount of $16 per head. This is in line with our minimum menu charge for a main course. We require a deposit of $50 to secure your booking, non- redeemable if cancellation on you part occurs less than 48 hours before the date of the booking.
Evening Functions:
Our quotation to you is based on the numbers and needs of your initial enquiry.
We are happy to accommodate changes but advise that drastic changes in these requirements (e.g. numbers attending) may influence the costing and therefore the charge. We will provide you with accurate updates in line with any changes that may occur. For the smooth running of your function Box Stallion requires finalisation of the Menu, Service, Wine-list and guest numbers no later than 21 days before the function.
To secure your booking we require a minimum deposit of 10% no later than 60 days before the function date which is non refundable after that period unless re booking for another event.
Any cancellation must be received in writing to be considered for a refund. No bookings are held after the 60 period without deposits. Final payment is due 7 days before the date of the function (unless prior arrangements have been made with Box Stallion) except for adjustments relating to alcohol charged by consumption.
General:
The Client or Client’s guests, invitees or other persons attending the function are financially responsible for any damage sustained to any part of the Box Stallion Estate. The clients must pay for any missing, lost or broken items in full. Box Stallion is not responsible for any damage or loss of any item brought onto or left at the property by the clients and clients should arrange their own insurance for such items.
The clients and their guests must enter and vacate the designated function space at the scheduled times agreed upon. Clients are responsible for their own transportation to and from Box Stallion unless otherwise arranged with management prior to the event. Our extended liquor license is valid until 11pm. Box Stallion reserves the right to refuse service after that time or, if in our opinion, any clients have reached the point of irresponsible consumption of alcohol.
Box Stallion reserves the right to exclude or eject any persons from the function or the premises without liability. It is Box Stallions decision whether security may be required at your function. Security is charged at $40 per hour per security guard.
Prices as at July 2006. Prices may change depending on costs and GST. Expect price increases of 2% to 4% per year. Please keep in mind that foods are seasonal and may also vary.
