The Red Barn Cellar Door 

 

We are pleased to present to you our range of Function packages.  These have proven to be our most popular to date. 

 

The Cellar Door will seat 80 people Banquet Style in the main dining area. The adjacent stalls will provide seating for 40 more people.  Cocktail style receptions will cater for up to 200 people.  There is always the option of an out door event. Our large wooden tables are transportable and we are more than happy to organize the hire of Marquees etc. 

 

All the packages are inclusive of Venue Hire, in house tables & chairs, table linen, glasses, crockery, cutlery, cake table, gift table, use of grounds/building for your ceremony and background recorded music.  Appropriate staffing is also included in the package price. 

 

Our table linen, crockery and cutlery are of the best quality.  The Red Barn has a unique ambience.  We provide subtle lighting with fairy lights in the main dining room.  Candles may be arranged by request. 

 

We are more than happy to hire on your behalf to keep things as streamlined as possible for you but all additional hire charges will be added to your package price. 

 

 

Package one:

 

Cocktail party ~ @ $42.00 per head 

 

8 pieces of Hot and Cold Finger food 

 

This is a great option for a casual reception that gives your guests plenty of time to chat and circulate.  Our finger food is served by our friendly staff and spaced throughout the evening according to your needs.  This also allows for your evening to be structured with ease around activities such as speeches, presentations and entertainment.  We pride ourselves on the presentation of our food and it's all made in house with fresh seasonal ingredients and sourced locally where possible. 

 

Cocktail party ~ @ $54.00 per head 

 

12 pieces of Hot and Cold Finger food 

 

There is always the option with Cocktail style functions to have some of the food laid out on tables. 

 

The function package price is inclusive of Drink Waiter service but you may like a bar set up for top-ups later on or for circulation of the guests who are interested in tasting our range of wines. 

 

 Package two:

 

Buffet Style ~ @ $68.00 per head 

 

A casual approach to dinner with finger food and welcoming drinks served to your guests upon arrival by our friendly staff. 

 

On arrival: Finger food ~ hot and cold x 5 selections. 

 

Main Course is Buffet Style with a delicious range of dishes, hot and cold with fresh salads, sauces and breads to compliment.  Circulating at the Buffet table is a good social event and if need be, the big eaters may help them selves to seconds! 

 

Dessert is again Buffet Style with a great selection of homemade delights.  If you can't decide what to have then you can sample more that one!  Fresh fruit will always be included as well as a platter of cheeses and crackers. 

 

Freshly brewed tea and coffee is also included. 

 

Once seated with your food our Waiting Staff will attend to your every dining need and ensure the drinks are refreshed if you so desire.

Package three:

 

Fine dining ~ @ $80.00 per head 

 

Those who love the 'traditional' touch will appreciate this package.  Your guests will be greeted by our waiting staff and offered pre-dinner drinks and Canapés.  Once the pre-dinner mingling is completed they will be shown to their seats.  They will then enjoy a delicious three-course meal.  Timed according to your needs with appropriate breaks for speeches and musical interlude.  Your every need will be catered for at the table and our staff will refresh your drinks if you desire.  Dinner will then be cleared away to make way for merriment.  You may like to continue with waiter service of drinks or we can arrange a bar area for later. 

 

On arrival:                      Canapés ~ hot and cold x 5 selections. 

                                    Pre-dinner drinks. 

 

First course:                  Soup or Entrée 

 

Main course:                 A selection of two mains provided for alternative service at the table.  A Vegetarian option will always be available upon prior request. 

 

Dessert:                        A homemade delicacy often infused with our Sweet Harmony Dessert wine. 

 

Freshly brewed tea and coffee is also included.

Other Information 

 

Regarding Wedding & Special Occasion Cakes ~ we are more than happy to organize a cake for you or feel free to bring your own.  However a cover charge will apply if you require us to slice and present your cake to your dinner guests.  We generally present cake with fresh berries or seasonal fruit with double cream or mascarpone and the charge would be $1.50 per cover. 

 

Our drink packages are as follows:

 

$22 per head for 3 hours of consumption/$24 per head for four hours of consumption. 

 

This includes:

 

Sparkling Wine. 

A choice of four of our wines @ ($27 per bottle or under). 

Full strength and light beer. 

Soft drink and juice. 

 

Wines may be charged by consumption only with wines pre-selected from our range upon availability.
